danpald: Doctor visit today went well. Already walking with only a cane and feeling no pain nor limp. Twelve days after the surgery and now a month before another visit to the doctor. All is going well just boring when not going to work. |

danpald: Well today is one week after my hip replacement. I decided it was time to walk along the pathway along side my apartments. That means I went up and down 18 steps three times. The first walk lasted about 20 minutes in the cool morning, trying not to over do the walking. Second time I walked for 30 minutes and felt good at the end. Enjoyed even walking with a little rain softly falling and hear the thunder and seeing some lightening. The third time I walked for one hour, some sprinkles and my legs felt better finally not so stiff just feeling a little tired. I have had only my one aspirin a day and twice taken something for pain. The pain medicine is prn (as needed) every four hours for seven days. That means I still have pain medicine if needed but do not have any pans of taken anything until I retire for the night. I am still using the walker but only to push and do not need for weight bearing, I am almost ready for the cane instead. I will see how this goes but all looks very good before my doctor visit next Monday. |

danpald: Thank you for the prayers and best wishes. It is remarkable today. I had the surgery yesterday and less than 24 hours later was released from the hospital! I expected to be there until Friday but only one day! Already feel better than I have for months. Some pain but it is different pain and relieved as I walk and do exercises. I have much less pain already! Still I do need to be careful and recover completely. I do get tired more now of sitting long time or lying in the bed need to walk more and I actually enjoy walking again! Thanks for the prayers and notes. A special thanks to Robyn who has infoirmed so many of my surgery. |

danpald: Will have the hip replacement on May 9th. Looking forward to having more freedom to move around by this summer. Perhaps even able to dance again with the mischievous fairies like Puck of Midsummer night's Dream fame. |

I know you will be back to yourself in no time. I've read about so many people regaining strength and vigor they haven't had in years. Prayers and good thoughts are coming your way, - | ||

danpald: I am very glad to see the reviews for my tribute to Norma McCorvey. I met her when working many years ago for the Right to Life movement and heard her story many years ago. Still it is now like yesterday and still the fight goes forward. We can never give up the fight for innocent human life from the womb to natural death. I have done very little but still will fight to the end for the unborn child and the victims of Abortion. Both women and men have been suffering too long from the effects against life and natural love. Thank you all for reading and your kind reviews to my poems for Norma McCorvey (1947-2017) |

danpald: The year with Fairies is now complete. I will move to other themes but the Fairies will return now and again. It was an adventure writing with only one protagonist for the entire year and stay fresh. Now I will turn to other themes and let my mind roam my heart fly and the keys sing with poetic dreams. |
