El.Marjie: I'm busy at the present venturing into the world of literary agents. Does anyone have experiences they'd like to share? I've signed a contract with Writers Literary Agency, and have ordered a critique of The Box Social. Hope I'm not making a mistake. They're supposed to work with me to make my writing saleable. What do you think? Thanks to all of you who have read and commented on my work. You are great encouragers.

    Celtic~Soul: I agree with, Red. I've heard nothing good about them. Don't send them a dime! Always go to P&E like Red suggested, or Google the name with 'Scams' after it and see what comes up. In this case: Writers Literary Agency Scams. I did it and a whole lot of stuff came up. WLA is the kind of place that takes advantage of writers, takes their money, and gives them nothing but empty hope and disappointment. -

Her name is Diane Mettler. She's amazing. Just wanted to pass along the information. I miss Washington's full venue of opportunities for writers. :) -

    Long time no see! Sorry I've been gone from the site for so long. I've been busy getting my book ready for publication. It's getting close now, and perhaps I'll have a bit more time to join you on FanStory. Have missed all the interactions with other writers, and I will be glad when I can be back regularly.I'm considering writing my 'novel' on FanStory, chapter by chapter even though it won't be fiction. What do you think? -
