I'm back. I finally started a blog...wait, that's not exactly accurate; I should have said I'm attempting to crash the entire internet by starting a blog and just randomly pushing buttons on the Administrators Screen. Not to worry, I'll get the hang of it. But, should your screen suddenly go blank, you'll know who to blame.

For those who don't know me, my name is Jim Brantley. I'm a retired Newspaper Columnist, writer, teacher, and abuser of the English Language. Which is exactly why I came here. My plan is to post my writings here first, get all the spags corrected (thanks to you good people) and then post them to my blog, where they will probably languish unread because I don't know a thing about keywords and such.

If you are impressed by credentials then you will be awed, and dumb. Such things are acquired just for living a long time. In fact, if you live long enough, you would eventually end up with a Nobel Prize. So, short and dirty.

As a columnist I won the L.B. Fulton Award and Manhiem Award. I have been internationally published both on the web and in print. I was inducted into The National Geographic Society in 1999. I am a Contributing Author, Senior Editor, and Honorary Fellow of THE ROYAL FORUM. I am also house broken and seldom drink out of the toilet. Although, there have been a few Tequila related incidents.
