RoostyNester: How many poems are you allowed to enter in this site? And how many contest are you allowed to be in?

    You are allowed to post two things per day, poetry or prose.

    Contests? You can enter as many as you like - just read the conditions carefully to make sure you are eligible.

    FYI There are two main categories of contest. Site-sponsored contests are free to enter and offer a prize of $100. Member-created contests require an entry fee in member dollars (often around $5) and the prize is a proportion of the pool.

    Site contests are obviously more popular and therefore harder to win!

    All of this information is available in the FAQs under the Community menu. Any other questions are probably better posed in the Forum (also under Community Menu) Putting it here in your profile may not get seen much.

RoostyNester: I'm new and not sure how the member dollars work. Do I need to pay cash, or can I earn them from comments on other writers work?
    Lynn27: Member dollars are site currency are earned by reviewing other members. You do have an option buy member dollars with cash.
