There are several reasons for a one-star review. The work is really poorly done. -- And the reviewer should say why. The reviewer just doesn't like the topic -- Unfair! The reviewer is 'getting even' for a review left for him by the writer. -- Report these reviews to site administration. The reviewer is a fly-by "Standard" Member who enjoys leaving one-star reviews. All standard members are NOT fly-bys, they can be valuable reviewers, but you can block all standard members when you post. The main thing to remember is: The stars, the ranking system, mean NOTHING outside Fanstory anyway. Don't take it so seriously. If it's a review that can help improve your craft, take what you can from it. If it's nonsense, forget it. - | |
