Interests
Serving the Lord, being a husband and dad, writing and personal training
I'm a 42 year old husband with two children. My mom died on my 12th birthday. My dad died my freshman year in college. I was all area in basketball receiving a full ride scholarship to Northwood Institute of Midland Michigan. Got in trouble in school after my dad passed away and was kicked out of school. Turned to selling drugs which landed me a 15 to 30 year prison sentence. I was released in March, 2005 and God blessed me with a job in April, 2005. My daughter was born in Nov 3, 2008 and my son was born Dec 21, 2010. I split up with my kids mom. She went to church and I hit the streets once again. My kids mom bought me a TD Jakes dvd for fathers day that I end up watching two months later. God spoke to my heart that day. My kids mom let me listen to a Marvin Sapp cd. I was listening to it as I was working out and when track five come on, I began to cry. I stopped my workout and began to pray. My kids mom invited me to her church as a visitor. The next Sunday I joined the church. That same week I was baptized and a day after my sons second birthday we were married. God spared my life and I am forever grateful to Him. Glory be to God!
