Donna McNaughton: Oh boy, I just realized that I can post writings for critique without entering a prompt contest or other contests. My credit card was on fire constantly buying member dollars!

    Donna McNaughton: I try to review as much as I can. Sometimes I don't feel qualified to critique. I skip the ones that go over my head. -
    prefabmouse: I read all I can too to raise money but to also enjoy other peoples work. I have not been on here for very long but I am a little disappointed in the fact that you have to pay to get your work posted for review by buying a certificate. I wish they would put it on there for the first few days to a week then if you want to put it back on there then buy the cert. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? -

Donna McNaughton: Everybody's got these cool pictures to accompany their entries. Can anyone let me know how I access the image libraries. Do I give the artist a royalty to use it? Thanks.
    michaelcahill: When you post there are two choices for images towards the top when you are posting. It ways select from Fanart or select from computer. Fanart is our sister site and has all kinds of images to add to your pieces. You can also download images from places like Bingimages on to your computer and then to your pieces. It takes a little practice and then it becomes old hat. It all seems really foreign at first and then before you know it, it is easy. -
    adewpearl: Fan Art is really easy to use, and there is absolutely no charge for using their pictures on Fan Story. Of course, you can't use the picture anywhere else without their permission. -
    Donna McNaughton: Thank you. I finally tried it. I know a poem should stand on its own merits, but sometimes these pictures add just the right dimension to stir our emotions. -
