    jjstar: Oh, Lord, my son lost his and it was a hellish 2 days of trying to get a new one...sigh...had to go to pass and ID to get on base. Then we had to go through an interrogation about where he might have lost it, then filled out the lost ID form. Then we had to make an appointment to get a new ID...about 3 hours the next day waiting for pics and forms..arrrghhhhhh. Now it is in my wallet and will stay there forever! Make sure to have your car insurance coverage card before you try to get on base... -

MikoAmaya: I love getting reviews that say my poem is great and good luck in the contest...Really, I do. But after 5 or 6 reviews like this and then seeing that I only have 1 or 2 votes, it makes me wonder why people write it if they're not going to vote...
    Sally Carter: Well maybe they did think your poem was great, but thought someone else's was even greater. I got loads of reviews, but so far not a vote. Just the way it goes, I'm afraid. But don't lose heart, there's still another three days or so till the vote is concluded. -
    adewpearl: I've voted in contests where I genuinely liked 10 or more of the entries and gave them all good reviews. Saying good luck in the contest is not the same as promising I intend to vote for a person. When I was teaching I might give a dozen kids an A on an essay, but only one could win the prize if we were holding a competition for very best essay. -
    nor84: The majority of reviewers wish "luck in the contest" to have something to say at the end of the review. They review to get their member cents, and then don't go to the booths to vote for various reasons. -
    redrider6612: ...yeah, like the fact that they don't know when the contest voting begins. It would be lovely to have a box on the home page listing contests in the voting booth. -
    nor84: I think that's been languishing on the Wish List for years, Red. I know Brook and I and others have begged, pleaded ... to no avail. -
    Lady & Louis: Or just aren't interested in voting in contests, full stop. I will wish someone good luck in a contest as a courtesy, but I don't spend my time reading contest entries to make votes. It doesn't even appear on my to-do list. -
    Scarbrems: Also, not everybody sits glued to this every day, and may not be around on voting day. Believe it or not, some people have actual lives. -
