hdilly: Does anyone revisit old writings to do a whole overhaul on the piece? I think it is a great idea for self exploration, and seeing how far you've come along!
    MacNizzle: Absolutely! I don't think I have written anything that I would consider "finished" forever. The more time passes, the more objectivity I can give a piece. -


hdilly: I am getting my own magnetic poetry board setup, hope to start playing with it soon. Does anybody have luck with magnetic poetry inspiring you? Any tips on methods?


hdilly: I didn't know you can't enter more than 2 prompts per week...lame...I already wrote it and was excited.
    redrider6612: You could stil post it outside the contest. Or you could create your own prompt. The limit is only on the site created prompts. -

hdilly: I find myself staying up late and getting up early to write and read for FanStory. I wonder if this is just a 'Honeymoon' period, or if I really have re-awakened the writer inside myself? Many thanks to the Writer's and Reviewer's for contributing.


hdilly: I often use music, and usually one particular song, for each piece I write as inspiration. Do others do this as well? If not, I definitely recommend this strategy!

    I don't use a specific song for inspiration, but I ALWAYS have music playing when I write. Sometimes it inspires me, other times it's simply comforting. Either way, I don't think I could write without it...

    But I also know writers who find that music distracts them from the task at hand. Different strokes, and all that, eh? ;-D -
    Summer J Breeze: I do that when I write books. i pick a theme song for the main characters. -
