Dianphillips believes in love at first sight, and that everyone can make a difference if they really want to.

She's also a walking contradiction because she knows that she will never be famous, or important to anyone outside her family, and those that she calls friend. But, she's okay with this. Because as long as she has her family and friends, life is worth living.

For the moment, she's thankful that she wakes up healthy each morning, and that her kids wake up the same way, for she knows that many in this world are not so fortunate. She wishes that she were a millionaire so that she could help right some of the wrongs in our world today. But, that isn't the case, so she'll pray for those less fortunate.

She counts the day she found this site a very lucky one, because not only does she get to share her work, the pieces of her soul, with others, she gets to be amongst the tremendous talent concentrated here.

She thanks those who support her, and all who leave their comments, even if they are bad. But she writes for herself above all others. The good thing about the feedback is it's making her a better (she hopes) poet.
