Waterbird is a member of the Tsalagi (Cherokee) Nation. She works for the eradication of the stereotyping of her people. "Education is key," she is often quoted saying. "When people learn the truth about who and what we are, we will then be able to heal the wounds of the past 500+ years."

Charter member of MPS. Yeah, baby!

April update: Her collection of poetry, "Destiny's Child, A Living Legacy", is out and has sold over 200 copies. Prof. Cees van Riel and Prof. Charles Fombrun, prominent corporate educators in the Netherlands will present her poem "Expression" in their next book, "Corporate Communication: Essential Practices for Effective Reputation Management", due to be released in 2006. She credits any success she might experience to the good folks at fanstory.

All I want to know right now is what do you believe in, what it means to you to be alive? Don Henley.

You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. John Lennon.

I'm frustrated by your apathy. Alanis Morrisette.

Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. From where the sun stands I will fight no more forever. Chief Joseph.

The earth does not belong to us, we belong to the earth. Chief Seattle.

We may not all live holy lives, but we live in a world alive with holy moments. Kent Nerburn - Simple Truths.

Thank you for taking the time to read her work.
