It?s been such a very long time since I?ve logged in. I have been in a kind of mourning for my writing. It started as a writer?s block. I don?t know anyone who hasn?t experienced that. But, mine carried on for too long. Months then years went by and nothing. No inspiration, no moments of lightning strikes, just a huge black hole where my writing used to live. The joy I felt when the words flowed was replaced with a cliff. A cliff so high, so frightening I couldn?t go to the edge and see what was below. I hope now I am ready to face my fears.

I thought it was time to update this. I have adjusting to retirement and becoming "vintage", I refuse to name this growing old. I have sold my house and found a worry-free apt. in another city. It's closer to family and friends. It's still just Chewy and myself. That's how we girls like it. She distrusts men and I can't say I blame her. My financial situation had improved so hopefully I will soon buy a new computer. Then I will be back up to speed with writing and reviewing.
