Selina Stambi: Welcome to my Garden of Dreaming. Take a walk with me ...

Welcome to the garden. Take a walk with me ...

Welcome to the garden. Take a walk with me ...Posted by Selina Stambi Writer on Thursday, August 6, 2015
Adri7enne: Thank you for sharing your garden with me, Selina. It's beautiful and I enjoyed the intimate tour. You have created for yourself a place where you can dream and be at peace. Well done, girl. -
mrsmajor: Thank you for inviting us, it was a pleasure...
What a joy, it must be for you, just to be around all the beautiful flowers, each with its own fragrance...Have a wonderful Day! -
RGstar: Thank you. Hope all is well. Have a beautiful day :)
    -
Green Lake Girl: Thanks for sharing your garden, Sonali. It's beautiful, creative and all yours! -
Sandra Stoner-Mitchell: What a beautiful garden, Selina, I love the different areas you have created, and the use of mirrors in your garden to open it up even more. I am going to copy that idea as my garden is quite small, pretty, but small. Thank you, my friend for showing us your beautiful garden. How did you put your video on here? xxxx -
Joan E.: Thank you for the wonderful video-tour of your smiling garden. You are fortunate not to live in California, where we are in the midst of a four-year drought, and lush gardens have become an impossibility. I feel refreshed after spending time in your special place. -
Ric Myworld: Thank you for sharing your personal garden with me. The sounds and sights as you walked me through whisked my mind into sort of a sleepy-eyed trance before it's end. What a peaceful and serene place to cleanse the mind and relax. Wishing you something Wonderful! Ric -
abbasjoy: Sonali, thank you for the tour in your garden. I love all the different things you did with the mirrors and the junk art. You are such a delight to be around. So carefully you created beauty from ashes. Hoping in another few weeks you'll be able to come over and we can have that long promised visit.

"bye, and thank you all. for allowing me through
    Blessings, my friend. -
Jacqueline M Franklin: - What a beautiful garden!
    - I love how you create from what is around you, or what you find---Nicely done.
    - Thanks so much for sharing. (*<*) -
Jay Squires: Gorgeous, Sonali! Your garden was nice too. LOL, Really, you make me want to get started in my own yard. First Debbie, now you. And the added bonus: I got to hear your voice!

    Jay -
Jay Squires: Well, Sonali, this is my second tour through your garden. You and Debbie have been instrumental in engendering in me a passion for gardening. Thank you. -
Sanku: Wow! I have always wondered about your garden. Now I actually took a virtual tour of it. No wonder you write some great stuff..going to read all your postings that i have missed. -
dejohnsrld (Debbie): Beautiful garden, my friend. I would love to spend a day there writing--what an inspiring place to be. Thank you so very much for sharing both of these videos. I'll be back to watch them again~DEbbie -

FanStory wrote to Selina Stambi: Congratulations the 2014 #3 Ranked Script Writer!

Selina Stambi: This thought crossed my mind this morning ... a smile costs nothing, yet it's priceless. It transforms a grim moment.

Give the gift of smiles this Christmas - they're free and they usually get reciprocated.

Merry Christmas to all and happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends.

I'm truly thankful for so many things - Fanstory and my friends on this site are way up on the list!

Reach for the stars - settle for nothing less.

Smiles to you (they're free!) ...
michaelcahill: OOPS. I've been getting member cent pumps for them all year. Well, I'll have to come up with a new scam for 2015. Smiles back to the ambassador of smiles! -
TAB_that's me: I love your thoughts on smiles and reaching for the stars:) Here's smiling at you and wishing your a wonderful Christmas. -
DIS-illusioned: Too much smiling in my neck of the woods is construed as you being up to no good.
Please, don't ask what neck of the woods I'm in; it's a jungle here. *Gulp!* :-/ -
Lovinia: A smile is priceless, yet designed to be worn every day. Smiles to you ... from DownUnder. xoxoxo -

Selina Stambi: Hurrah! I'm back on classic Fanstory - I was feeling like a lost stranger. Who else changed back? Show of hands, please ...
Kingsland: I'm getting to the point of where I like the new site. It just takes some getting use to... -
granny goes viral: Hands. Hands, hands. I never really left. Did a 'Sit Down protest. Classic came back the next day. Yippee. At some point the "new and improved" might actually be new and improved. I will wait on that. I have no problem with the oldies and goodies. -
shelley kaye: i go back and forth....
    -
Julia.: Shelley, I'm going back and forth, too. I like reviewing on the new format, but for most other stuff--and particularly the home page--I like the cleaner format of the classic format. -
Ben Colder : I prefer the new now that I have gotten use to it. -
Linda Engel: I go back and forth but I do like the classic better. -
Jackarrie: I much prefer Classic too, I just do not like the new on at all. -
Carole Rosa: I use Classic. I can't stand to be on the new site, because the purple header jumps up and down every time the cursor is moved. It's distracting and annoying. Carole -
4hisglory: I mostly use the classic and like it best. I do like where you can choose to review prose or poetry on the new though. The print on the new is so small at the top, hard for us older people to read. -

Selina Stambi: All aboard the miracle bus ...

Anyone want to add to the list of stories below?

Please share - don't be shy! It might make a difference in someone's day.
    DIS-illusioned: I'm still breathing. If that's not a miracle, I don't know what is. -
Selina Stambi: Good point! Glad you're not DIS-spirited, DIS-appointed and DIS-couraged about it... or DIS-enchanted!! Here's to a more sunny DIS-postion ... (not DIS-sing you at all!) -
TheSprite: Aw! Sending hugs to DIS-illusioned! I'm glad you're still breathing! Gonna go read some of your "stuff." Your work is still breathing too! Loving it! -

Selina Stambi: Another miracle story?
Selina Stambi: Nothing? Really? Surely you've had even ONE amazing happen in your life? -
Nanalrb: Well I'm new to this site, but I have great cancer and have finished my 6chemo treatments. I am now waiting for my surgery on September 3, then 25 radiation treatments. My miracle started before all this. You see my husband of 44 years has Alzheimer's, and I am having trouble dealing with him on my own. At Christmas a friend advised me that I needed help and suggested hiring a care giver. My son had a friend who's sister in law was coming to Canada as a caregiver, but her client had been placed in longterm care, so she needed work. The result she moved in with us February 18, i had arranged for my husband to attend day programs 3 days a week and signed him up for mobility plus bussing. March 6 I received the diagnosis. You see God had it all planned out. Although life's journey can go through storms,if Jesus is in the boat with you he can calm the storm or be the anchor that keeps you safe. So much has happened on my journey, but it has been the prayers of the prayer warriors that has allowed the Holy Spirit to carry me from my sinking sand to His solid rock.
    -
Nanalrb: Oops. I have breast cancer. Don't you hate spell check. -
Jumbo J: It would be so easy to come up with a personal miracle story, I have had so many... but what defines a miracle? That your life was saved or spared, or someone close to you? For me, at this time in my life, life itself is the miracle. Waking up each morning, knowing I have a knowledge and purpose of something greater than just myself. Everything I see, eat, touch, hear and smell is a miracle... yeah, even the things that disturb all the senses to the indecency of what man is capable of... for they are the ones that teach us compassion and tolerance towards all life... that in itself is a miracle. Love, compassion, integrity, respect, forgiveness, courage, honesty and faith... they are my miracles. xx -
RGstar: Bless you, little lady. Keep the faith . Thoughts with the family.
Lots of love from this side.
    RGstar -

Selina Stambi: My garden is blushing like a beautiful bride. The first roses bloomed en masse today. Had a Sunday nap under the apple tree ... oh, the joy of my Eden!

Ben Colder : Glad you are enjoying your garden. Seems if the Lord is speaking. Blessings -
misscookie: We all shall stay on praying grounds for He answers prayer.
    Have a blessed day.
    Until next time. Cookie -

Selina Stambi: To wake up each morning looking forward to the new day; to be able to see the silver lining in every cloud; to see the glass as half full, not half empty; to love in spite of - to have joy despite .... my daily miracle. I am so thankful!

More miracle stories ... please?
The Death: Waking up everyday is a miracle in itself...each blessing is a miracle! :) -
NicciFaye: Sonali, you couldn't be any more right! Waking up is a blessing from God! -
GregoryCody: I struggle with seeing the world that way but I try very hard. I Am getting there. The one thing I Do know though is that God is beautiful and loves us so much. He sent my wife to find me when I was very lost. I thank Him everyday. He is my life. -
angelajfrank: wow i'm so happy for you. and you are a survivor from cancer. but i did loose my mom from cancer and it was real hard. -
angelajfrank: I would like to met you know day. my e-mail address is angela_pavlovsky@yahoo.com -
dejohnsrld (Debbie): You can work miracles
    Just find someone in need
    You can work miracles
With simply a good deed -
Raincoolo: My brother while he was inside my mothers stomach had moconeme poison(going to the bathroom inside her stomach)When he was born he was really sick and they though he wasn't going to make it,my pastor and some preachers went to the hospital and prayed for him,He is still alive to this very day! He was a miracle baby. -
RPFoster: Miracle?? I am a miracle, to date I have been clean from opiate addiction for 1yr 28 days, on June 3rd during a neurology visit, my arms and legs had reflexes for the first time in 4 years. I was told that the effects of the nerve damage was irreversable, but Praise God, my nerves are healing. Yup! I'm a miracle, and that's just a few. -
MIKECON: How very true those words are,God bless -

Selina Stambi: Thanks, everyone, for the amazing stories - more miracles, anyone??
Lovinia: I had an unusual pregnancy with my third child. It was a planned birth, yet I often felt fearful. As time drew near, I had a horrible time just thinking of having this baby. I'd already had two successful births and couldn't shake of a sense of foreboding. When contractions began, they weren't too bad ... I just kept screaming inside my brain ... I can't have this baby, I'm not ready, it's not time! I thought I was going mad. I had been so excited with my last two beautiful sons. There was no reason to suspect anything was wrong.

I thought I had plenty of time, then it all happened so fast .. off to the hospital with no time to spare. The doctor said he was off to have his morning tea and be back in time ...... well, it was already time according to the babe I was birthing. The nurse who had been unpleasant to me both then and in a previous birth was hoping the doctor wouldn't make it back in time, she wanted to birth the baby.

Aaron is just as impatient today twenty one years later as he was then. He was out in seconds .... with the hugest umbilical cord any of the nurses had seen. In that long cord was a knot .... if that cord hadn't been so long, my son may have been born a still birth. I have nearly lost him two more times in his short life. I trust in the miracle of that day, and the miracles that saved him at age eight and nineteen ..... he is being watched over and protected. For that I'm so thankful and trust God to keep him safe. <3 <3 <3 -
TAB_that's me: My friend has lived with extreme from a rare disease called RSD for many years. His heart is also bad and barely working. He should have died many times and lived off of high dose pain meds for years. He attended the funeral of friend recently and Jesus came and sat by him. Jesus told him he was going to die but not before a miracle occurred. A few day later, his doctor refused to give him any more pain meds and resigned from his case. He went to another doctor who also refused. He went of the meds cold turkey and now has no more pain. He is strong again. His heart still only works at 13% but he survives! -

Selina Stambi: Any more miracles?
pbroussard209: My mom passed away four years ago after a long illness. The day after the funeral my two sisters and I were at the mall doing a little Christmas shopping and trying to soothe our own guilt over her last years with us. Mine was living too far away to be of much help. My oldest sister was struggling with the fact that she didn?t talk to my parents for fifteen years, and my middle sister struggled with the fact that she resented being the one who was stuck taking care of them on her own.
We were in Hallmark looking at Webkins for my sister?s grandkids when two lady's approached us. They told us they were on a spiritual treasure hunt. There were several teams dispatched throughout town. They had prayed before going out for God to lead them to people who were in need of prayers. They told us that they were led to the mall looking for three people and to look for one in red. I just so happened to be wearing a red jacket. They asked us if we needed prayers and we told them that we had buried our mom the day before, needless to say we were a little freaked out and I think they were too. One of the ladies said she had never felt a pull so strongly as she had ours. So after a few minutes of tears and hugging perfect strangers, we circled and prayed in the middle of Hallmark. People around us stopped shopping and stood at the edge of our circle.

It was an awesome feeling and we knew our mom, forgave us. We came away feeling lighter and a little bewildered.
    -
Sandra Stoner-Mitchell: That was amazing, Sonali. It shows us there is life and love going on in Heaven. My husband's mother died yesterday, suddenly, I know she is with her husband. So surreal, first my mum, and now Grahams. Your little story lifts me up no end. xxx -
4hisglory: What wonderful stories of miracles! I feel so foolish, I didn't find this thread of comments until today and have been on this site how long? Anyway, would like to share a miracle. My husband had an automotive business for about ten years now. He did mostly older cars for the elderly and poorer people in our neighborhood. We had a lot of people who didn't pay, so we ended up using credit cards to keep our business going. We prayed that God would help us pay off the debt. A couple weeks ago we got a letter from one credit card saying they had forgiven our debt and we no longer had to pay on it. It was for over $5000. Thank God for answers to pray. By the way we promised the Lord about 2 years ago that we would never charge anything again and have kept that promise and He has always provided enough money to make our payments on all our bills. God bless you all! LaVonne -

Selina Stambi: Anyone want to share a miracle ... anyone??
    Selina Stambi: ANYONE ...? (Come on ... :) ) -
DreamyFate: Miracle: A glimmer of hope only to find it taken away to find it again. Miracles can happen more than once. -
Selina Stambi: I KNOW you've had lovely, amazing, unexplained things happen to you, FS - do tell ... don't be shy! :) -
A Jesterstear: It's not a miracle, but, I went to a spiritualist meeting a couple of nights ago.
I have never met this woman before, she walked up to me and named four spirits that were with me, each one correct, then went on to tell me the name of my brother, who she said is still in this world and has been very ill. I have recently moved from Ireland to Scotland to be closer to my brother who has acute leukaemia and I have been having tests to see if I am compatible as a bone marrow donor. This is just the latest experience like this I have had many before. There are some charlatans out there, do not be put off by them. The point I am trying to make is that this is genuine, there is more, life does not end here, the spirit does move on. Hope this doesn't sound too crazy. AJ. -
sunnilicious: I had a dental crown put in today. I was fine for a while. A couple hours after lunch, I started fevering like a maniac. My body was furnace hot, especially my face and neck. Called the dentist. They asked me to come by... I was there in 10-minutes, but it's like 2-minute walk. So now, I'm ridiculously insane for even going outside in 35-degree weather. The dr dentist man and his assistant could see me like immediately. Apparently, I'm allergic to their latex gloves in my mouth. The dentist used a lazar around the feverish parts of my mouth. Immediately, I started to cool down. Then, I had to pick up an antihistamine and thermometer. I checked my temperature as soon as I walked out of the pharmacy 102.4 degrees. I tried to rush home, but another 2-minute walk was like 15-minutes. I took a Claritan and sat on the couch. Not wanting to do anything. I just sat there and watched the clock. 30-minutes later (all together about 45-minutes since last checked), I whipped my new solar powered thermometer... My temperature dropped to 94.5 degrees. It should be 98.6 degrees. I drank some green tea and watched the thermometer in disbelief. Jumped into bed to take a nap under the covers. Woke-up. Checked my temp and it's 96.6 degrees. But really, I'm freaked. I should go back to bed until I'm a normal temperature again. But is it modern medicine? Or was it a god sent message? Have a good evening. Peace be with you.

cardiodoug: Hi Sonali----This may not be a miracle---but it's beyond explanation. I married in 1975. In 1986 I had a brief affair with a resident physician. I was her instructor at a hospital. The affair was very exciting, mostly centered on secret rendezvous and did not entail much sex. It lasted about six months, and I'm certain that my wife new nothing about it. Seven years later, 1993, my wife filed for divorce and I moved out of our home. I soon discovered that she had been secretly obtaining credit cards and running them to the max. As our divorce proceeded I found that, unknown to me, she had nine credit cards with an outstanding credit debt of $53,000. Despite me having a very nice income as a cardiologist, my wife seemed to have a compulsion to spend and hide money behind my back. I was irate.
I ordered one year worth of statements from each of these nine credit companies.
Over the next few weeks the statements arrived in the mail. No big surprises---a few large charges on expensive dresses from Neiman Marcus, Saks, etc. The big shock came when I received a batch of statements from a huge credit company out of Wilmington DE. As usual, I first counted the number of statements in the package. Instead of 12, as in all the others, there were 13 sheets. The extra statement, unbelievably, belonged to the woman I'd had the affair with seven years prior. I was dumbfounded. I had never used a card to purchase a thing for her, and she hadn't either. Both are last names begin with the letter B---but there is no other similarity in spelling. The size of the credit co, with millions of customers, makes it likely that my statements were filed far away form my former friend's. Was it a message from God---reminding me to not be too angry with my wife since I had been unfaithful. Or, to the opposite, was it a message suggesting that I should pursue my former love. I've thought about this hundreds of times and have discussed it with many friends. The only remote explanation, is that I was hallucinating. However, I had reviewed the extra statement many times over many days. A prolonged hallucination would be nearly impossible. I can't explain it---some secretary at the creditor involved just happened to pull a file , either on-line or in a cabinet, a file that was completely unrelated to me, and likely thousands of names removed from my own ?????Thanks for readingfor reading------Doug -
Ben Colder : I am not sure where to begin. My birth was the first miracle of my life. God called into the ministry as a boy. I have seen angels many times and in visions, I have seen the Lord. I was 33 years of age before I preached my first sermon. The Lord spoke to me and was given a miracle ministry. For many years I dragged tents up and down highway and byways and into places many would never go. Lived among many cultures and taught them Jesus is the same Today, Yesterday, and Forever. Spent many years preaching over the airways never asking one dime. God filled teeth, healed Cancer, and many more miracles that He still does today.
For greater is He within me than He of the world. Facts! I pray blessings upon you and all of Fan Story members. I am old now with failing eyesight but my Lord gives strength to walk another day. My prayer is to "Let me love you more this day, Father than I did I did yesterday." My days left, I question and He assures that He wishes for me to stay a little longer. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Peace to all. -
pipersfancy: I have experienced several miracles in my life, but shall share my own "road to Damascus" story here as it is perhaps the most profound- I was not raised by religious parents, and had no formal upbringing in any faith tradition... but I must say that I have often felt Spirit close to me throughout my life, even as a child. Back in fall of 1990, I moved from home to attend graduate school in the US. The first weekend following the move, I was exhausted and had planned to relax all Sunday in preparation for the beginning of classes the following day. Instead, I was awakened early Sunday morning by an incredibly bright flash of light... I thought it was lightning and braced for the thunder, which never came. In fact, it was a bright, sunny morning. But, I could not return to sleep, I was feeling very energized and suddenly was taken by the thought that I MUST get myself up and ready to go the CHURCH (which, I had never attended in the past). I didn't even know where to go... being new to town... so I looked in the phone book and settled on a name, "St. Stephen's Episcopal Church". A short while later, I set off, not sure where I was going. I parked in a spot I thought was relatively close to the church, and began to walk. I walked for 4 hours... passing glorious cathedrals and impressive churches... non of them what I was looking for. It began to rain, and soon I was soaked. I came to a dead end, and a river blocked my path... so I backtracked and found a way around to continue. I was on a bonafide pilgrimage, and didn't even realize it at the time! Eventually, I came to St. Stephen's... a small, unassuming structure, white washed wood, small sign that said, "Welcome". It was closed, and I burst into tears. As I stood there in the rain, I heard... clear as if someone was standing in front of me... "Where have you been looking for me?"

There more to the story, but I need to get back to work at the moment! -
pipersfancy: I'm on lunch, so will try to finish!

So, what was intended as a relaxing Sunday, turned into a full-day pilgrimage to a church I'd never even heard of before, much less attended. I was soaked through, and had to walk all the way back to my car. Got back to my apartment and had a hot shower... too tired to eat, so I went to bed.

Next day, classes began. There I was, involved in a conversation in the student lounge over lunch time. There were a couple of students I recognized from my undergrad. program, and we were chatting. Of course, the question came up, "How was your weekend?"

So, I related the strange tale of feeling such an urgency to find this church, and the pilgrimage I had taken to get there, only to arrive after the services had ended. (I left off the part about hearing a voice speak to me as I stood in front of the building, soaked through!)

Across the room, another young woman (whom I had never met before) came over to join the conversation. She introduced herself as Ellen. Then she asked me if she had heard me correctly, that I had been trying to find St. Stephen's Episcopal. When I affirmed it was, she told me that St. Stephen's was the church she attended - asking if I'd like to go with her next Sunday. I did, and so we began writing down our names/phone numbers and addresses for each other. When we handed each other our slips of paper, we immediately realized that we lived in the SAME apartment building, off campus, actually across the state line from where the college was located. My suite was 201, her's was 301. It was more than coincidence... we were, at that time, the only 2 graduate students in our program living off campus, and Ellen was one of very few Christian students who was not of the Lutheran denomination (which was the prevalent denomination in that area.)

So, I began attending St. Stephen's regularly with Ellen. And 2 years later I chose to become baptized through that church.

    Voila! That's my story! -
Antoine Charlemaine: This story was related to me by Canadian colleagues, while working together in The Philippines. It is not embellished in any way. Names are changed.

Reuben was happy. His relationship with Sonya was going smoothly, and he was driving to see her now, her engagement ring tucked safely in his pocket. He had no doubt she would say 'yes'. What he was unsure about was the direction their future should take.

Reuben believed God was directing him to train as a linguist, in order to commit his life to the pursuit of Bible Translation for a minority language group, somewhere. he believed that 'somewhere' was The Philippines. Sonya, however, was not convinced. She admired Reuben's desire, but needed something stronger than his determination to persuade her to dedicate her life to such a pursuit. She needed a sign.

Reuben's heart was troubled. Was he doing the right thing, courting a girl who did not share his strong desire? Yet what could he do? He had fallen deeply and completely in love with her. He felt God's blessing upon his intention to make Sonya his wife.

Reuben came to a cross-roads and slowed down. He checked right and left for traffic, then drove into the intersection. The truck travelling towards him, speeding along, was clearly intending to continue on through the intersection...

The truck reached the intersection and unaccountably left its own side of the road. The truck, loaded with stone, was travelling at such speed and momentum, it not only struck Reuben's car; it drove completely over the top of it, so that when the carnage settled, the truck was on top of Reuben's car. It looked like one of those flattened vehicles one might see at a wrecking yard.

How does Reuben know how the scene looked, I hear you asking? He must surely have died instantly. How could anyone escape such a disaster? He could tell me precisely what happened that day, because he watched it happen. Reuben cannot explain this. All he knows is that he stood, wide awake and lucid, on the side of the road, watching that huge truck driving over his vehicle, and coming to rest upon the flattened remains of what had been his car. He had one small scratch below his left eye. The car was not an open sports model. The police concurred that there was no way Reuben could have been thrown out of the vehicle. There was simply no time. The whole thing was over within seconds.

Sonya said 'yes'. She also knew she had received the sign she sought. She and Reuben dedicated their lives to Bible Translation. A minority language group of the northern Philippines now have God's word in their language as a result. -

FanStory wrote to Selina Stambi: Congratulations the 2013 #5 Ranked Script Writer!

Selina Stambi: Miracle: an extraordinary and welcome event that manifests or is attributed to divine intervention in human affairs (The New Penguin English Dictionary)
DIS-illusioned: Miracle: an undiscovered or misunderstood 'natural' phenomenon that tends to wow those who are ignorant of or misconstrue its 'logical' operation. (The 'Duh, Open Your Darn Eyes' post-modern dictionary) :-D) -
William Walz: Miracle: getting the darned kids to wash the dishes once in their lives. -
Selina Stambi: .. and to clean their rooms!

Ha! He strikes ... again! Where can I get an autographed copy of that dictionary, DIS? (Authored by you, of course!) -
valene: miracle: coming home after a thunderstorm and finding a rainbow in MY BACK YARD! I had my own rainbow! -
Lulube: Miracle - Wouldn't have believed it; new laptop (LLL - lulube's language listing) -
MidnightWriter4U: Miracle-getting those to understand that can't see the logic of Divine intervention. -

Selina Stambi: I still believe in miracles .... hurrah! Hurrah!!
AnonymousWisdom: The best miracles are the ones you make yourself :) -
Apryle Willis: I still believe in miracles too friend. -
Selina Stambi: The perfect miracle is the one that cannot be explained off - it proves that ... prayer changes things!! :) -
Whitebird: Can you be human and not believe in miracles? -
    sunnilicious:

emrpoems: It has been proven that cancer cannot live in oxygen. There is a way of oxygenating the body and if this is done the cancer will surely disappear. Research cancer defeated and also MMS ( miracle mineral solution) -

FanStory wrote to Selina Stambi: Congratulations! You Danced Her is the new Poem of the Month!

Selina Stambi: I believe in miracles, in the impossible becoming possible, and that dreams do come true.
DIS-illusioned: 'Miracles' that come true are simply natural phenomena that we haven't yet understood.
The 'impossible'--by its inherent definition--cannot be achieved. And merely wishing hard for a 'dream' won't make it come true. That's not how the universe works.
Sorry to rain on your parade. :-p -
Selina Stambi: I never expected anyone to read my little blurb! I do believe in the impossible being possible and in miracles because I believe in a power that is higher and I. Thank you for making me smile and you did not rain on my parade - may I shine on yours??

    -
DIS-illusioned: *Kisses to Reaching* You have such a sweet spirit, hon. God bless you!
    :)) -
Dancingflowers: yay for dreaming!!! never stop! -
GE Parson: Dreams? Wishing? Higher Power? Miracles? Nothing wrong with dreams, they just represent a strong passion for something to happen. Were it not for the Wright Brother's dreams (My wife's ancestors)we wouldn't have the air travel today. Wishing? If your wishing is God=ward, that is called praying, other wise it's just empty day dreaming. Higher Power? There is only one higher power, and his Name is God, who does perform things beyond logical explanation called miracles.
    - G.E.Parson -
Deniz22: All of life is a miracle except to the God of the impossible.
    -
Deorre Leonard: I believe in miracles. With God all things are possible..... -
Whitebird: Miracles happen every day, so wonderful to believe!
    Whitebird -
Chinwe2000: I so believe in miracles. I've seen God turn around impossible situations! My friend born with the sickle cell(SS) genotype now has the AA genotype. She has done 3 independent tests to confirm that. I'm a believer! God is awesome! -
Charlene0513: So very grateful to receive your note; so sorry for not replying sooner but I sometimes forget to check my profile for messages.
Your affliction of cancer as I only reaffirms our faith in Christ that He will be by our side through all of our dark days.
I pray that your are on the mend; just remain positive and you will be surprised what God has in store for you;for nothing is IMPOSSIBLE with God.
    Blessings, Charlene -
Carolyn 'Deaton' Stephens: Hello right back to you, I saw your note, stop by anytime. I plan to read some of your work. Your portfolio looks wonderful. Continued success, Carolyn -
Ydesince2: Stopped by to say hello to you as well. Thank you for stopping by my page. I read your profile, and find you completely inspiring. Your writing is amazing. Stay positive, Stay creative, and Stay Blessed! -
Flamingbush: Hi, Reachingforthestars! I just want you to know, I think your philosophy is so cool, and the guy who dismissed miracles as mere natural phenomenon is totally whacked. Remarks like that are to be expected, of course, in a world that worships dead things and old fossils (which is basically what evolution is: the study of "icky bodies" - like Ichabod).

    Your writings inspire me. -
Sanku: I loved your philosophy.I too believe in miracles ,i have seen it happen to others -i am still waiting for mine-dreams do come true. loved your writing . -
FREEFEE: If god does exist what is impossible in the natural. -
    Selina Stambi: Nothing! -
EmanLNorman: Miracles are real and dreams do come true. But the Greatness of God is that its not about us wishing hard or something. Its about just a knowing and walking towards that dream. -
4hisglory: I believe God has a dream and a destiny for each and every one of us. I believe in miracles such as instant healing, deliverance, protection, and many other things unexplained by the natural. Keep believing!!! God Bless! LaVonne -
JesusLuvsU: Hi there, thank you for the lovely comment you left! I belive that God has given us unique gifts, has known our destinies before we were thought of. He has given us the miracle of life, of love and the biggest- the miracle of Mercy. He has blessed us with the reassurance of Christs' love and unfailling gift of forgiveness. I love God and will continue to do so, because not only did He sacrifice His Son for the ones that will kill, mock and desert Him. He loves you so much, that he has given us a choice between evil and justice, unfortunately we often try stand on our own two feet at the worst places, determined to be the person the world wants. Simple Splendors: Lovely to meet you as well! Your bio caught my eye earlier too. How wonderful it is to see beauty in all of God's creation! -
Apryle Willis: The ones who "Do Not" believe in miracles, simply haven't seen any. Its because they are looking at the wrong page. -
Aussie: Don't take any notice of the people that try to say there is no such thing as miracles; we believe in God and there is nothing that He cannot give to us. Chin up and keep believing, I do. Blessings, Kay. -
krys123: Believe in this miracle you have 12 votes so far and are in first place, good luck and God bless. AK -
CeciliaLynne: Miracles are happening. Just take time to watch, wait, believe and recognize them. No mystery in miracles. They are happening right before your eyes. See them. -
