Leigh May is a speech and language therapist who has always dreamed of becoming a published author. She wrote her first poem at age 9 entitled 'The bubble' and can still recite it. She is working on her first novel 'Scarlet', set in her native New Zealand. She is currently living and working on a super yacht in the Mediterranean, a lifestyle that provides daily inspiration for characters and situations.. She likes to read stories about the grim, grisly, underside of society and humanity. Although she would like to write nice stories, somehow they always end up grim and grisly also. A long way from 'The bubble' anyway...
