KCgene is an avid reader. In a world of practicality and long work hours, reading is an escape to a place where the only boundaries are the imagination of the Bard. Love the fantasy genre, Tolkien, Robert Jordan, Raymond Feist and George R.R. Martin are wonderful storytellers and favorites.

Dabbling in writing, some newsletters, role playing, stuff like that, but it's taken 40-something years to get serious about telling stories.

Just a little background, US Marine, Pizza delivery guy, Advertising Account Exec, Car Salesman, Travel Agent, Warehouseman, Videographer, DJ, On-Line Game Writer/Developer, Cabinetmaker, F&I Manager, Vice Commissioner for a Youth Football & Cheerleader Organization (8,000 kids 5-14 yrs old) and Darkksilk the Rogue.

He has a Dodge Charger and oh yeah, it's got a Hemi! A little 14 yr old schnauzer/terrier/poodle/shih tzu - mutt called Tequila and a cockatiel by the name of Vino. The most important part of life of course is the person he draws his inspiration from. Ana Maria is the terra firma that keeps him grounded and a kiss on the soul as soft as the brush of a butterfly's wing.
