Jenia: I need some direction. Is there a volunteer out there who's willing to take a poor little old lady by the hand and escort her into beaming hooplas of the publishing arena? Simply put ... HELP!!!
Dean Kuch: Good luck with that Pat. It's a dog-eat-dog world in the publishing business. My Gag Order series was accepted recently by Dark Fountain Press. But that was only after literally hundreds of re-edits and countless correspondence back and forth. Perhaps it is the genre in which you choose to write that is making it hard?
Best wishes always, and continued success. -
Jenia: Thanks for the input Dean. I've been publishing for 1000 years and I know how tough it is ... true, it could be the genre I'm using. Then and again it might not. Personally I think a good writing course and several library books on writing/feature/fiction/non-fiction and so on would probably do me a world of good. Well back to practice. Pat -

Book 2 of the trilogy, "Sound of Marching Women," depicts the life of Protagonist Jenia Cabresi, her tenure in the Air Force (WAF) and how she,who once vowed to a life as a nun, with her Italian-Catholic background, coped with coming out of the closet to live as a lesbian and overcoming the bigotry of the 1950's. In her third and final story of the trilogy, "My Darian," she writes about her life with her partner for more than a half of century.
"My Darian," who died at the age of 94 of a CVA (cardio vascular accident) in Jenia's arms in 2009, is being re-written at this time.
