Irina born in Moscow, Russia in 1955. But for the last 49 years has lived in Tyumen, Siberia. Tyumen is a city of fine people, good Universities, and Institutes.

She has always dreamed of living in warm place and to have millions of white roses in her garden, and be able to smell the flowers during all the days of the year. She has snow at home for 6 months every year.

Her favorite books are A Little Prince by Saint-Exupery, Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak, The Song of Hiawatha by Henry W. Longffellow, and the drama Fedra by Marina Tsvetaeva and many others.

The part writing plays in her life. Seems to her that her real life is only a poor or partial reflection of the life inside. Irina writes even when she is not writing. All her life writing is like a duty, or purpose. Sometimes pleasant and sometimes unpleasant things have to be put down on paper.

Life inside her is not better or worse, than on the outside. This other life inside brings her peace, which is more real that you can imagine. But these inter and outer life have the same values. Friendship, love, trust, humor, honesty, tears, and laughter.
Irina adores her son Alexsander; he is 29 years old. She has the daughter-in-law and lovely grand daughter Kira! Kira is 4 years and 6 months right now!

Irina is the Author of two poetry books in the Russian language. Russian, which is her native language. The following poems are her first in English and she would like to share them.
