As the lives of 2997 men, women and children lost their lives to terror.

I don?t count the 19 lives of the terrorist who decided to end their lives ONLY the innocent who were going about their daily lives oblivious to their fate

Amid the screams and disbelief, 413 First Responders rushed in to save lives

One hundred and two minutes that changed America.

Can you still feel the anguish, disbelief and anger of that day?

Can you still feel the American Pride at seeing Old Glory flying amid the rubble?

    Mary Kay Bonfante : What a beautiful post, JUSTAFAN. Yes, I remember that day. We can never forget it.
    You know, that flag the three firefighters put up that day went missing, for many years... my husband and I were just watching a documentary (recorded on DVR, 9/11/21) about how that flag turned up, years later, and was proven to be the original flag, forensics and all. It wasn't a big flag, it was 3' x 5', but it was Old Glory, the Red, White and Blue. We remember the 2,997 who died, including the 343 First Responders (I think there were actually more) and then the thousands who died in the decades that followed, after breathing in the toxins at Ground Zero. We remember them all. -
