poetwatch: Many times it takes me a while to answer reviews. I ask for you to bear with me. I'm having some eyes problems and it's the pits. :(

FanStory wrote to poetwatch: I Hurt a Lovely Heart finished third in the contest "Acrostic Poem"
Gypsymooncat: Congrats on your third placing in this contest. It's a lovely acrostic! I don't think you need to apologise for anything you might say in reviews though. Those being reviewed need a thick skin and to have enough confidence in their work that they don't bite anyone who points something out that is a genuine problem.

And by the way, not everyone you review has a lovely heart! But what a lovely sentiment you expressed in this poem anyway xoxoxo -
poetwatch: Thank you Gypsymooncat. I appreciate what you wrote. -

poetwatch: It seems that words can make the world a better place, without hate, for love is the answer, if only people read.
mrsmajor: Love has always been the answer, if only one would read His word...What a pleasure to know you're loved. -

FanStory wrote to poetwatch: Life on Feathered Wings finished second in the contest "Use These Words"

poetwatch: It's nice and cold today. A day to enjoy the comfort of home. I wish I had a home. I live in a house where sometimes it is very cold. Yet, I smile and try to make you smile. But then again, sometimes that coldness makes me walk in the dark side of life and I don't smile. Forgive me if you can't understand my feelings. Many times I don't understand them myself and I hide.

poetwatch: I like to thank everyone for being helpful in correcting my errors as well as for the support and encouragement. I shall try to strive better in my stride with you stars.

poetwatch: I know that the world does not revolve on the forgotten. Yet, if one tries to achieve, one is held back by "one contest a day, one poem can only be shared." Wish I had known that I can only enter one contest even when there are several posted.
kiwisteveh: Well one of us is confused. As far as I know there has always been a limit of TWO posts per day - that would be in a FS day if you live in a different time zone.

But as far as contests go, you can enter as many as you like if you are eligible, within the two posts per day limit. So you could, in theory, enter 14 contests per week if that was your thing.

Let me know if you have somehow discovered otherwise.

poetwatch: Thinking of You
Looking at a distant star
as it twinkled in the heavenly blue
reminded me of the tenderness of
Your face as you looked at me.
Are you doing fine? I wondered
as that star caressed my mind.
Are you seeing what I?m seeing
in that far away place where you are?
I miss your warm embrace
and your understanding.
When I see that beautiful star
I see your face.
