Gianinas: Nonethelessing Contest entry with a DVR Again, I became active on Fanstory and the writing contest about the DVR was the next one available. In other words, write something: about nothing, nothing, nothing! I always enjoyed this challenge. Nonetheless, my old DVR is jealous. I am that lady pretending to be on the line 24/7...I do not watch TV. My husband does. I just keep him company. He watches everything...Sports and... sports news. What else is new? Donald Trump! well, not Donald Trump himself, he's pretty old these days, but his ...err...he must have something new, does he? I mean an idea, something...Because he is new at this! I know! He has a new Budget out there... A guy on TV, whom I am sure was talking about something other than sports, since there is seldom any real sports on CNN, said that Donald proposes that we save $1.5 trillion over the next 10 years from food stamps! wow! that is something! It is almost 50% more than we accumulate in foreign debt in any given year, lately. So, you know, I might agree or not with The Donald, in general terms, but THIS idea... yeah... no! Even though, it is ...good...He wants to replace the stamps with $10,000 checks that we should send to those below the poverty line, to send their kids to college. Couse when you send the kid away, you don't worry so much about food any more! My husband asked if I want more, I said no and we were back in FIFA World Cup under 20. Yeah, we watch that. Thank God for the old DVR! Abut what else is new with me, I gain weight when I eat oils, my kidney acts up if I don't drink my probiotic, which it did not at any time before the Obama administration...but that was long!... Long ago, I used to lose weight by putting on high hills and walking around, window shopping...Now I shop on the internet, so... that Mrs. Obama could possibly be right about something. I think it is hormonal. The thinner she gets, the fatter I am. No kidding! literally! What else could I nonetheless about? My eyesight going away; My 'freedom of the mind, body and soul' is going well, proud of it. The Free People of America are celebrating Memorial Day in Bermuda. The others are abusing the food stamp program. The 'little' they have going on, will be replaced with the 'young' not going to college and abusing the 10K checks pretty soon! Never liked the poor very much, they are too... needy Donald Trump, don't you agree? Will he answer my call, you think? Couse I don't know! That's what I do not: know! Many things that are happening are indeed unconstitutional. One of them used to be Obamacare. Now it will be replaced with these other things. I know: it's like... |

Gianinas: I would have hoped and I am still convinced that people on this site understand that an accusation of Plagiarism, made on a public site like this, would constitute slander and libel. Plagiarism is a strong word, that should never be used without supporting evidence. I took offense with one of the reviews I received for my Palindrome Poem "Amore Roma". The respective Post is Registered with Registration ID 821001. Respectfully, Gianina |

Gianinas: Hello, I have posted a short SF story entitled 'The Anchor' and did not get any reviews in the last 6 hours. Usually I get the first two reviews within the hour. Could there be something wrong with the formatting of the article? Thanks, Gianina |

Gianinas: Howdy, My ranking in poetry keeps going up even without my posting anything. I seem to be better when I sleep than when I create and post something! What is going on with the software good people? |

Gianinas: (after Giovanni Pascoli) The Book by Rondeno That's it. Just lift it down. Go easy ... Patience! When oak trees whence this dusty desk was quarried still thrilled to breeze, The Book was already ancient. It smells of oil and toil, and of the forest! The paper, palpable, and soft as cloth shows ridges full of character, like the face of a peasant. Here, some bookworm, grown to moth, well-nourished on its contents, chose free space. I love to sit alone here, with The Book, repository of centuries of thought, and let our modern maelstrom shrink to naught. I lose all sense of time, go deaf, dumb, blind, until the world is one with this oak nook ... for I am in the presence of Pure Mind. |

Gianinas: I thought sharing my work is what i would like to do, but starting today, I decided to "give credit" for some inspiring thoughts to fellow writers on the website.
