His Grayness: I am a longstanding member of Fanstory who seeks to answer a prayer said long ago: that I Might reach beyond the limits of my Alzheimer's challenge and still find the rich blessings of Gratitude for my wonderful life experiences, and share them with others in a manner that would create that gratitude anew in them also. Poetry is my best medicine now along with my mission to bring others out of the "grayness"

    Tina Crute: My step mom had Alzheimer's and we nursed her for several years before she passed away 4 years ago. Now my dad is diagnosed with Alzheimer's and he's in the beginning stages, but already my heart hurts because of what he has to go through. Whenever I pray for my dad, I'm going to pray for you too. It's unlike the norm when you are going through a challenge, to uplift others, so I really appreciate you being my cheerleader :-) -

His Grayness: I am a "Senior-Kid" with the spirit of a person who is now, and has been, (as long as I can remember), DRIVEN to Learn, Teach, and most of all, 'CREATE". I believe in GOD, "The Creator" (without religious bias or complex dogma). I believe that GOD (as the ultimate creator) would logically Create, more Creators! My mission in life is to encourage, stimulate, and support CREATORS and help bring them to the PINNACLE of GRATITUDE in their lives.
    Slythytove2: I for one don't think there can be a greater calling than to promote creativity. We are all going to have to learn to do that in the not too distant future. Thanks for all your support, and if you ever find yourself in Stuart Florida looking for a bed for the night, you have one here.

Your eloquently stated views on God and gratitude echo my own concept of our connection with and relationship to our Creator. I believe we are blessed to tap into and reflect this power through art. His Grayness: Ok..the old intro is now expired with age! I've been on this site for several months now so I've got serious perspective...not like that rookie stuff below. So here's what you get at Fanstory... ahhhh....it's simply what you GIVE at Fanstory! This is the very kindest greatest, bunch of brilliant, loving, talented, human beings I've ever "connected" with! This site works like an elegant, costly, Swiss watch, beautifully designed and powerful in scope and capacity! Tom (the creator) is always caring, and very responsive to any questions. The thinking behind this site design is brilliant and the intention and integrity of the mission for this site is honorable and trustworthy. I've made many new friends with a will to teach and learn and I believe ... a spirit to share their deepest emotions and spiritual gifts to the betterment of all. Simply...I'm very impressed but much more: I'm GRATEFUL for all of the people who live here. Vance
    Sonjalee: Dito. When I first started with FAnStory I could not believe how nurturing this group of people are. And after being involved , I still think this is an extraordinarily great group. And thanks to Tom who has been very helpful to me as I have journeyed through this wonderful experience of understanding poetry and attempting to write it well.And I agree what you get is what you give, and if you are willing to open your heart and mind a wonderful gift awaits you.     And thanks to all of you who have read and reviewed my poems/ I am quite the novice but I love trying to put words into a state of meaning that conveys beauty and understandlng to some of the craziness and love in this world.
    And after 3 years I have 3 fans which appeared within the last few weeks, I gave up on ever getting a fan. What a complement-thanks so much. -
    Liilia: I just found this awesome thread while browsing FS and FAR at close to 2AM. Reading all the comments, all I can say is YES, YES, YES.     His Grayness: Well...I've been at this for a few decades and seen some horrible websites on poetry and of course some very poor poetry but so far here, it has been well above anywhere else. Sure there are some poor old souls out there that need some guidance and maybe it's just best to try and help them rather than to scorn them. Feels better that way...trust me!
