jimbo starr: Hi everybody. Back in the writer's chair again. Slow going when a parent dies but that is what life gives as to write even more heart felt lines. Music is busy at the moment so the poet in me is a bit fragmented at the moment. Hope to be back in touch soon. J.S. |

jimbo starr: Since wandering from the catacombs, poetry bars, 'meet at strange places', and all the other hangouts from the 60's to now I never thought there could be a change in getting to meet similar artists, world wide. Thank you all the 'Bill Gates' and world war 2 smart people for the internet. Also a huge tick to the design of FanStory and the support group therein. Most of all thank you to all the poets, writers, reviewers, and great people for allowing me into this wonderful home of artists. Finally a place to go any-time without any anything. Sure beats driving 100 miles to read a poem, drink a wine and have fun. Thank you to everyone involved. |

jimbo starr: Running a fish burley business so we can rid the Murray of carp was a great idea as it is now taking off. Caught 25kg of carp on 10th feb including some egg filled females. This is perfect as people buy the burley(recycled carp) and then catch carp with it. Winner . Worth a 6 I reckon. Must learn to include an image but don't know how? Anyone???? |

jimbo starr: Living near the murray river in Australia made me wonder what could I do to help rid the river of introduced carp.Guess what? Dogs love smoked fish.Yep, gut the carp, fillet, soak in light salt water and smoke them.My Doberman actually drools waiting for the treat. They taste great as well.Feel good now and I love fishing. |
