justjo66: Sorry, I have had massive computer problems as of late and have not been able to get on-line to respond or read anyone's material. I have missed this. I'm also extremely busy getting my first novel ready for publication. Beefing it up and re-writing. Hopefully, it will be out soon and I'll be starting on the sequel. :o)

justjo66: I have finally began my first novel. Scary and fun so far. I'm flying by the seat of my pants and for the first time in my life I like the heights. :o) (Always been afraid of high places)

justjo66: I'm back from my long vacation. Still busy at work but hopefully soon will be back on line reviewing and writing. I missed everyone.

Val Crisson: Just noticed your post from sept 30th, thank you for caring and voting. I really did like entry in the Sedoka contest "men a d machines" -
Val Crisson: I just looked at words, two points. " like surgeon is your skill"' doesn't surgery sound and feel better. Also, I like that you are carrying the rhyming out in most stanzas but feel you have to find a way to rhyme the last stanza too. Much better, though. Hugs -
Val Crisson: Congratulations on tour free verse win! Those are not easy to come, and just beautiful poem. And as always with tour work, from the heart -
Maureen's Pen: Congrats of your 3rd place "Peace like a river" Hugs. -

justjo66: I have written for years for myself. Writing has always helped me to clarify my thoughts and deal with emotions. It still does. Sharing with the public is a very new thing for me. Time will only tell if this is a good thing. Here's hoping. :o)
Carolyn 12: Welcome aboard hon. I look forward to reading more of your work. Stop by my place anytime. -

"He leads me beside still waters..." Picture above taken 2018.

First, I am a child of God. No, I am not perfect, YET, but I look forward to that day.
I am married and have 5 grown children (one no longer on earth). I have grandchildren and great grandchildren and have been a nurse (RN) for 35 years. My life is an open book. Just ask anyone who reads "my stuff" or has a conversation with me. I tell "it" all. :o) My friends say "I have never met a stranger". Guess that 'bout sums it up.
