I've read soooo many wonderful poems in the last few days, that I'm almost filled up...but I'm diving in for more...I told one of the young poets that she was so lucky to have the almost immediate reaction to her works. I've sat on my poetry for some sixty years and am now offering it to you. |

The piece is of whole cloth, though based on historical fact. The courier was exactly as presented and died while in captivity. The rest are composites of the individuals who were there at the time of the invasion. - | |
