Nerdette: I'm going to go ahead and transfer to my other account. This one won't be closed, it will still be here so that everyone can read this message. But my new account can be found at: www.fanstory.com/janis_morris I hope that everyone will follow that account. This subscription will end at the end of next month since it already got paid for. Dx.. (: But I will continue posting on my other account. And I'm going to see if I can re post some of my work there. At least just the story I have been working on. Hopefully I won't even have to move it and the site will let me keep all of my work here. (: |

Nerdette: I am really amazed by how rude some people can be. I mean really...do they not look at what they are writing and how it will come across to someone? I love honest reviews...love them because it helps me grow. But be effing polite. There is no excuse..and you can't just say, "I was being blunt."... no. THIS is being blunt: I really think that you could do a lot better. This is being rude (an actual review I just got): "Re-edit and edit 3 times. There are incomplete sentences, unspeakable for a writer." and the rest of the review was just so condescending. I really don't think the guy had a clue on what he was talking about (though he did manage to add one actual helpful bit of advice in there...amazing enough.) Those "incomplete sentences" were phrases meant to emphasize the previous sentence. Gosh...and I hate not being able to just say it and explain it and tell the guy what an a-hole he just made himself sound like. I really wish I could tell you everything that was said..but it will do no good. It was just the rudest review I have ever been given. |

Nerdette: Dx... I'm getting really annoyed by getting 4 star reviews and then a message like this: Oh this was really great! Absolutely wonderful, I found nothing wrong with it. >.< Now I have to go and change all the advanced settings on my writing so that non-premier members can't review on my work...because they always give me 4 stars without understanding the meaning of it. They think 4 is good...and 5 is a 6. Dx. |

Nerdette: Also... I hate being called ignorant just because I am young.. I understand that I don't have a full life of experiences..but it doesn't mean I am naive. I know I have a lot to learn...but that doesn't mean that what I have to say or anything that I have say..is just foolhearty. |

Nerdette: Dx. I kind of get annoyed when someone gives you a low rating for your poem simply because they do not believe in your statements. I don't think that is right. When you write a story or poem...you aren't asking the person to agree with you...you are just asking them if this poem or story is interesting and sounds alright. So..that is probably the review that I can not accept and is the least helpful. I don't mark someone down if I don't agree with what they have said. I just ignore that little bit and tell them more about the technical stuff. |

Nerdette: Here is a very powerful quote.. *cough* I traveled the road less traveled upon... NOW WHERE THE HELL AM I?! haha. I saw this as a bumper sticker. |

Nerdette: I think I am getting better at my poetry. I don't have to think so hard to write anymore. I've always been enjoying it, but now it seems effortless and more of them are more powerful than what my previous ones were. I think I've gained a greater appreciation for it, is what it is. |

Nerdette: XD ahaha I found a huge beetle or bugs or something that was struggling on the ground yesterday. It was flipped over on its back and it couldn't get up. I felt sorry for it because it was going to die. So I went to find a rock and flipped it back over and let it walk away. (: that actually made my entire day. |
