My real name is Patty Padgett. You know me as RebelRose. I am a Civil War buff (The Yankees and the Rebels). A rose is my favorite thing, one of God's most beautiful creations. Therefore, since I am a true Southern Belle, i chose the name RebelRose as my pen name. I am also somewhat of a rebel. I am a retired medical transcriptionist, medical terminology instructor, laboratory tech. I am the mother of three, grandmother of three. I love to spend time with my family. I have always loved to write and began writing poetry at an early age. I am co-Queen Mother of a Red Hat Chapter. I have written six novels/novelettes under my real name which are available on Amazon.

I write from my heart and don't give a flip about meter, syllables, or such. I believes that if you stop to count and measure, it is not natural. I just let it flow from my heart to my fingertips. I writes not to win accolades or contests but merely to express and share what i feel.
