TheBritsWife: I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and support for "Sonnet for a Poet Grieving", which I wrote for my beloved friend and mentor, Jarlsbane aka Michael Cotner. Jarls suddenly passed away at the end of June, and I miss him terribly. He was an outstanding poet, fabulous teacher and beautiful human being. He taught me so much and left a legacy of amazing work. God bless you, Michael. I'll always carry you in my poems and in my heart. |
