Firefly54 is an English female, aged 67 living and working in the countryside.
Most of her time used to be spent on her smallholding, and doing textile crafts. She has always longed to have the time to make a concentrated effort to produce publishable writing. Preferably before she became too old to remember what she was actually writing about... First a member of Fantasy in 2008 years, she's returned after a second break.

Life sometimes gives us what we wanted in as somewhat cruel twist of fate and so it has been with me. I can no longer cope with animals or crafts due to having breast cancer and Parkinson's disease. I am therefore returning to fanstory to see see if writing is now a better option for me.
