LYLE: "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr. Seuss Pause a second and really think about this gem. Those wonderful moments when you arrived home and heard young, excited little voices shouting, "Mommy's home!" or "Daddy's home!" Then wet kisses and tiny hugs, often with dirty little hands, and suddenly no more. The youthful little voices became older voices making detached observations that you were home, but, still, those tiny voices remained in your memory. Now, when I retrieve from my memories those moments stored so long ago, I know their value - priceless! |
