theartfuldodger is quite mad, you know. She received an honors degree in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England, then was quietly shipped off to Washington DC's Folger Shakespeare Library, where she acted in plays. She insists that no one ever said 'forsooth,' and adds that its only purpose was to rhyme with 'moonish youth.'
When she is not acting professionally, she coaches adolescents for entrance into drama schools. She also works with juvenile capitol offenders as well as the gifted and talented. She says she identifies with teenagers, having refused to grow up. She attributes her ability to be an 18 year old at age 56, to "good inner parenting." She is totally baffled, however, with such things as negotiating the frozen food section of the grocery store,and shopping for clothes.
Her humor she describes as 'dark as a bing cherry.'
She is, as she will proudly tell you, 'hilariously Jewish.'
