AuroraSky: Australian Man © mGs 2021 written with respect to Lee Kernaghan and his family in regards to his lyric "Australian Boy" and the music...and wasn't written as either a protest or parody song.

He's got past where the ensign hangs
He's an Australian man
In the land of doldrums deafening
He's an Australian man

(Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty
Too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty)

He's guarding the brig a-poppy
He's an Australian man
He's got a beer in the cellar, chilling for him
He's an Australian man
Kipped out near the Sturt's Desert Peas
He's got a campsite, wheels a-wagon trimmed

(Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty
Too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty)

He scored the Birkenhead with a ranger
He's an Australian man
Flippin' off a sandstorm, stowing upstream
He's an Australian man
He's on horseback in Light Square
With men on the run and a line chasing bream

(Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty
Too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty)

With burnouts smokin' up the dust
Acceleratin' pace
Spinnin' fast times, crossing those lines
Rolling with the punches and muscles braced

(Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty
Too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty)

He's an Australian at home
He's an Australian man
Ringing the doorbells on Frome
He's an Australian man

(Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty
Too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty)

He'll stand by his mates, he stands by the flag
He's an Australian man
He believes in the green and gold
And stands under the red and blue
With a dash of white
He's an Australian man
She's an Australian woman
They are Australians

(Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty
Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li ay
Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li at-it-ty
Singing too-ra-li oo-ra-li ay
And we're bound to be...
Australians).

AuroraSky: Basic editor shouldn't cause font colour issues for prose as though using the poetry section, whereupon colours are selected. When posting stories (prose) there isn't an option for font colour changes and those don't occur when words are written without code.

My novels and stories I prefer to keep as Times New Roman and black font colour unless deliberately changing prose (those usually aren't prose with thousands of words nor part of a novel) - normal media industry standard rules.

Writing and pesty problems shouldn't happen. Editing is exhausting enough especially when helping other writers in the usual manner of writers circles/interactions.

AuroraSky: Seems fair to say, FanStory's akin to old slippers.

The door's always open, the writes' are always present - whether reading or reviewing, posting or working, the quietness of an online library is subtle and enjoyable.
rama devi: Warm welcome back! :) -

AuroraSky: I review because it's enjoyable or simply because I can offer help, rather than for $.

Just felt that needed to be said...(and this area was too blank to be ignored lol)
DramaMamaKY: And I thank you for it!!! -
    AuroraSky: :) -
    Jewell McChesney: Hey!
Where you been! I'm back & I miss you!

AuroraSky: Sorry, just hate using pc n wireless isn't available often n this is the first time I've tried to access the site with my newest mobile/cell. -

A Pond's Harmony

In the lulling piccaninny dawn
on the banks of the pond,
under the melaleuca and willow trees
a gentle breeze caresses bamboo,
while among the rushes,
tadpoles dash from mother's froth
enjoying natural melodies

Ripples break across the waters,
as the frogs' chorus joins
with crickets, birds and wildlife,
a rhythm found in
the wings of dragonflies
darting through the tranquil air,
when willy-wagtail begins his dance,

Enhances the setting sun's closure.

Walking the land of the great Southern Cross.
