Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Fabulous Free Verse Club

Crow

Oh, beautiful black bird
with onyx eyes
and velvet feathers.
 
Caught in sunlight,
the sheen of your wings
is a feathery rainbow.'
 
Timidity hides
your unlimited talents.
 
Stripped of trust
by mankind’s unjust
treatment.
 
But,
what fabulous fowls
are crows,
whose awesome antics
expose
their love of fun.
 
Always, you remain
my favorite.
