Failure - Mankind's predestined legacy

Graveyard of Untruths

by BermyBye50

In our modern materialistic world
life is often too superficial,
relationships are never ever more
than mere acquaintances.

People are graveyards of non-truths
information is sacrosanct,
immorality is expressly subjective
common sense is forgotten.

Ethical behavior is unidentifiable
as civility stumbles towards
inescapable apocalyptic oblivion,
for truth and justice are moot.

Human thought has transmuted
into graphical nonsensical,
expressionless stenographical
reasonless word jumbles.

The human race has morphed into
traded commercial-grade
commodities mired in cupidity,
as barren infinite zettabytes.

Digitalize artificial intelligence
without an imagination,
supplanting sapient terrestrial life
as pulseless automatons.

Failure is a feeling long before it
becomes ingrained reality,
a lesson of first resort learned last
mankind's inevitable legacy.

Life is an incomprehensible outcry
of communication lacking any
outward interpersonal responsibility
of an inactive collective conscience
forever teetering at death's door.

A symptom of mankind's privileged
god complex nursing our blind,
intent's non-extant free-spirited lives
through a solitary desert mirage.

Of non-existent interpersonal taboos
consumed by soulless addictive,
tyrannic technological thieves of time
promoting humanity's failure.
