I wandered along the graveled road.....
Bumpy, rocky, full of ruts!
Adjacent to a dirt filled field....
Bleak and gray, void of visions of meaningful life.

The scene matched my gray-filled emotions....

Trudging sluggishly along, Inhaling a deep hard-fought for breath, I caught a glimpse of color crashing through the dust!

Immediate release of frustration, anguish and hopelessness flowed down my cheeks!

Amidst my despair, I remembered your long ago words of wisdom....
"Bloom where you're planted!"

And then I knew I could survive and break through whatever path I had to trod!
