gramalot8: Hi everyone. Been awhile since I was on here. Tragically lost my 19 yr. old granddaughter 5 months ago. It's been very hard on us all. I haven't felt like writing or reading on here or anything. She is really missed. Hope I can "put my big girl panties on" and start again. Wish me luck. Want to catch up with all your poems and stories and start again myself. Thanks for listening.

    fingerfood: Losing a grand daughter has to be the toughest trial to go through. Now that you know she is happy in the next world your pain should be eased, although you will always love her and miss her. -
    Alexandra Trovato : Hi. I just read this. It was some time ago, but I just found out now so I want to say that I am sorry you lost your young granddaughter. I have a granddaughter who is six and a grandson who is five, who I haven't seen because my daughter has been mad at me. My bad ex husband turned her against me (after I had to leave his violence when she was one and bravely raise her alone)). He then turned her against me so I am cut off. I feel like she is gone and so are my grandchildren but there's hope I will see them again. I realize your loss is permanent I just wanted you to know that I have some understanding of love being ripped away. I remarried decades after and I've been remarried now to a good man, Chris, for 11 years.

    I hope to catch up on your writing and invite you to catch up on mine.

    I hope we can be fans and friends. I'm originally a lifelong New Yorker but my husband and I left New York in 2018 and bought a house near Pittsburgh PA a year ago. It's near where my beloved mother grew up. She passed in 2016 and my beloved dad passed at 99+ years old in 2019. Many changes have occured over the years in our families and in this world. Those of us who need by chance and the Grace of God can lift each other up. Smile. 😊

gramalot8: Had a very bad night and wrote an angry poem tonight hoping it would help me feel better. Hmmm,,,,, not working yet. I might have to sleep on it!


gramalot8: Feel sad today. Lost 2 family members in death this week. One older and expected, another way to young and startling. Should write a poem about this... don't feel motivated at the moment. Dang, I hate death!
