*DR. Spencer Reid is a TV character on the series Criminal Minds. He is a genius and has an eidetic memory, meaning he sees or reads something once and commits it to memory. Eiditic memory also means total recall, a person with eiditic memory never forgets anything. On the show his character is a member of the FBI's BAU-Behavioral Analysis Unit. They study and profile criminals, mainly serial killers, of course. =}

An eiditic memory is rare. Actress Marilou Henner has an eiditic memory, Must make it easy to memorize her lines. She is most recently starring in the murder mystery series, 'Aurora Teagarden' as Aurora's mother found on the Halmark Channel. It's a good show.
