Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Children's Heaven

Children of the Meadow

they run freely in a fresh green grassy meadow
filled with rainbow tinted wild flowers

unencumbered

no one to tell them
not to scuff their shoes
or tear their dress
nor get dirty

unafraid

no abuse, neglect, fears to face,
no predators around every corner
just innocent children feeling the sun's warmth
upon their blissful faces

giggles and laughter abundant
faces radiating pure joy and love
the kind of which is theirs eternally

do not mourn

Thanks to Norris for use of the picture, 'Spring Meadow'. I wrote this after seeing the movie, 'The Shack' twice, giving myself a vision of what Heaven is for children.
