Frantic Waterfall

she rushes down hill
a little to the right, then left
a steady liquid spill

thin trees tender the hills,
a few fallen branches form eddies
ever slightly forming new spills

curling, frothing, angry white foam
frantic to reach fruition
in a serene lake home
