A CHANGE OF FATE (PURE SUCK UP)

A change of fate
The glimmer of hope
The light in the tunnel
It's right at the end

No telescope or night vision
No detection required
I just know your position

No radar, sonar or infra red
No telegraph, no mobile
It's a solid connection

No poem, no ditty
To give me cred
It's love, mental telepathy
That connects our hearts

It's a beautiful empathy
It's a permanent selection
A grateful liaison,

In this lucky dip called life
That lucky dip is my wife

This has no significant rhyme form or scheme. I call it free form. It is written in quatrains of free verse in varying verse lengths.
I think I wrote this one day a few years ago when I was trying to get brownie points with my wife hence her deliberate reference lol
