My Poets Ranking

Today I learned my ranking on FanStory as a poet,
They told me twelve times so it's important that I know it.

I had to go so far down the list, I almost gave up looking,
Perhaps it is an agent I should be booking?

If they had a category for silly poets, I know I'd be #1.
Songs to my glory would be written and robustly sung.
(You're #1! You're #1!)

But there is no such thing, I'm most sad to say,
So I guess at the bottom of the list my ranking will stay.

But that's okay, I don't mind, I'm not one to seek praise,
Though I am crushed beyond belief, my days spent in a haze.

I will somehow find the will to carry on and mend,
though as you can see it may be some time before I post again.

So if you don't see me here, please try not to fret,
and if you'd like to bolster my confidence with '6's, I'd be forever in your debt.

Just kidding! but do think about the '6's, okay? =}
I got 12 messages about my ranking yesterday so I guess they really wanted me to know it. I am #173 on the poet list. I almost gave up looking. I don't really mind and am not crushed, and I quit crying around mid-night. =}
