Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Lies and deceit . . .

False Love

by livelylinda

from the missing new bathroom scales
to the window air conditioner
promised to a grandson,
it was done
and nobody won;

from the lies and deceit
realization
that she was just a cheat
and no feat
could reclaim a false love

moving from pain to anger
life moves on free of guilt
breathing fresh air once more
hear me roar!
as I walk out that dirty door
