Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Weaving hope into the alteration.

Take it to the seamstress.

by DALLAS01

Slivers of
it
glittered
in the clotted crimson
of the
warped wounds
that wove her story-
barely visible
hints of
it
hid in the hem
of the abuse
that contrived to conceal
it.
Then
suddenly
just as her frayed fabric
was being shredded
from her bent and bowed loom

hope

placed its fist through
the splintered door
arresting
the incestuous act.
Assuming
the role of seamstress
she stitched
it to tomorrow
and made the alterations.
