DALLAS01: I RECENTLY JOINED THIS SITE AND JUST NOW DISCOVERED PROFILE THOUGHTS... AWESOME. WELL OFF TO WORK...EVERYBODY HAVE A GOOD DAY.
irishauthorme: Hey welcome, and as to what to do, put some of your writing out there, you may get mixed reviews, but you will learn, and grow, and read others works, that helps.
    Cheers, irish -

DALLAS01: Kind of caught in a quagmire. Trying to decide how I want to approach sharing my writing. Do I search through what I think is my best writing and periodically put it out there. Or do I hone in on reviewing the work of others, garner more expertise and work on something new? Decisions, decisions. Come to think of it I have a short essay I once wrote about(indecision.) Might take a look at it and put it out here.

DALLAS01: POETRY (HAIKU IS MY FAVORITE FORM.)
PERSONAL ESSAYS
ATTEMPTING SHORT STORIES.
DALLAS01: I think I am going to like your site. I have been posting my poetry on Starlite Cafe.com since 2009. It is a very nice community but I don't think I can get the kind of constructive criticism I need to improve my writing. And it is restricted to just poetry. -
DALLAS01: I am astounded by the lessons to be learned from reading and reviewing the work of others. I am learning to critique my own work as well as acquiring ideas on what I might want to avoid and what I might want to employ in my own writing. What a valuable tool. I've already learned about a couple of new forms of poetry..Only problem is I am sacrificing needed rest. Think I am addicted to this site. -
rama devi: HOw wonderful you've discoevered the immense value of critique--both giving and receiving it. I've spent a huge amount of time here on FS cultivating the art of critique, which serves to indirectly cultivate your own writing--both in craft as well as art.

Rest is important, too, though! ;-)

It's late now so i'm signing off but just wanted to thank you for your reviews and promise to stop by your profile tomorrow...Looking forward to reading some of your work. Warmly, rd -
Selina Stambi: You gave me such a lovely review, I had to stop by and say hello - hello, Dallas! -
