This work has reached the exceptional level
Sometimes we just get lost in the void.

Time and its dimensions. Contest Winner
in the in between
the flurry of activity
no longer flutters..
I long to slip
beneath life's blanket
where a flaccid
is all that's required
in a languid land
where all for naught
is the only duty sired
where even a whisper
remains retired..
in the in between time
where rest is restored
on the cusp of what's next
and postponement
tomorrow's reward.

Writing Prompt
Time has many dimensions. Blending rhyme with free verse tell the reader where, on occasion, time takes you. Artwork ok. No graphics or music.

Time and its dimensions.

Punctuation or its lack is intentional. Meant to be read as a run on thought.

Thanks to Schatzling for the artwork
