Wee fairies flitted through the sky --
their wings aflutter caught my eye.
Such magic I don't often spy
as sprites who glitter as they fly.

I saw these pixies shimmering
with silver sparkles on each wing
till soon they formed a flick'ring ring
that set my heart aquivering.

They circled 'round, then waved goodbye
before they parted by and by --
Though they chose me, I don't know why,
but I'm so glad they caught my eye.
