where I favoured my plate became a wasteland

my butchers gave hope a delicious bite of red meat

I did not know I was on the list little George’s hateful gift

one tasted like a dog's arse quickly poisoning I made a retreat

closed my account needed a new dealer in delicious red meat

secondly my shop was a paradise lost a slagging from the rich

when cash is king it’s hard to stay alive under a butchers knife

I was their song a dirty joke a rich girls Facebook poke

a sergeant sang quoting Shakespeare let us rejoice

what are you supposed to bring when hatred sings

I’m having potatoes with milk my stomach is humble

all for a rich Proctor’s factor I’ll wait just bide my time

the outcome hey we’ll all be slim watch the pounds fly

It’s the weight of pride discovered on the side

a nice juicy plate of a butcher’s treat
