Playing The Ace
The Prophet's word is God’s gain
blessing a time of Grace
for a tenth of tithe
Watch as the deal is made
how the years turn to gold
the King's coffers yield
God blesses the hands of fate
it’s called playing the ace
Now watch it all turn
the blessing turned to a lie
once the deal is burned
As the tenth is sought
the gold returns not
then the King's coffers stop
It’s a deal with God
just watch the prophet's lot
