I love all theses things mentioned in this poem. For me this is what fall is about!
It was original and clever!
A naughty take on a well known theme
This piece speaks of pleasures of the palate. On crisp autumnal nights the poet sits down to a plate of chestnuts and/or truffles offset with a glass of delicious wine to fill the palate with a bewitching blend of flavours.
Sitting by the warm fire with the flames making shadows dance around the walls, there can be no better place to be on a chilly October evening.
