In one of our contacts, he defined the term as being: a serious medical or mental condition affecting older persons at a certain undefined age or time in their lives. It may manifest itself in spelling errors on FanStory, by forgetting appointments recently made, or by not remembering where the car keys are. This condition, however, is not as threatening as Alzheimers or dementia.
