I thought I would ask you what has been on my mind lately, because I just published my first children's book and I would like to know if your ad came with a cost and how long does it run for?

Tootie: Thank you to those of you who have read and reviewed our new novel's first chapter. We will respond to your reviews as soon as possible. Sorry for the delay! Currently, we are busy preparing our first co-authored book for publication. It involves lots of work ourselves, as well as working with several others involved in the preparation. It's still on target to be published by the end of this month. Hurrah! For those of you who've been following along with that one, we have finished writing it and will be sharing our last three chapters later this month. Tootie: UPDATE RE: Bill Bishop (aka Commando)
My wonderful, talented co-author, Bill Bishop, hasn't been on FanStory the past two weeks because he needed to replace his computer. While waiting for the new computer, he figured it the opportune time to have some surgery done on his right eye. He is fine, but it will now be a little while longer before he's back. He wants to thank everyone for the recent reviews on his profile page that he hasn't been able to respond to. Since we co-author these chapters, I thank you, also. Your encouragement, help and support are greatly appreciated. We SALUTE You! We are continuing to work together on our books, and I will be posting one of our chapters this weekend. Tootie: "No longer am I observing my life as if it was another's. Instead, finally, I am observing my life as the life I always believed it was destined to be."

As many may know, I am a published author. Since last October, I am also a full-time writer and publisher. (Yes, it is possible to make a living at writing!). However, never getting my college degree, I still have roadblocks, regrets, and so much still to learn. So, at 59, I've decided to go back to college! I have recently been accepted at SNHU (Southern NH University) to obtain my BA in Creative Writing/English. I can take all my courses online, which is great. Always remember, it's never too late to achieve your dreams! Fears and feelings of inferiority have crippled me in the past, but they will cripple me no longer.

* A special thank you to Bill Bishop (Commando). I am thrilled to be co-authoring four books with this very talented (histrionic and flamboyant) Tennessee Mountain Man! He is an AWESOME WRITER, and I'm becoming a better writer because of him. We are posting chapters of our books (either his profile page or mine) as we write them. Tootie: Please forgive me for not reviewing enough or posting much on here the past few months. I have recently made the great leap of leaving a day job to open up a publishing business. This includes a business office and all that goes with it (not home-based). Beginning next year, I will also be overseeing a book club for the community I live in. All this is presently requiring a lot of my time. I've considered taking a leave of absence from this site, but the books I'm co-authoring with Bill Bishop (aka Commando) are still top priority. The next chapter of our historic romance novel is in the works and will be posted soon. There are so many talented writers here on FanStory, and I feel so privileged to write with one of them.
